I WILL BE THE FIRST TO CHANGE!!  Did you hear it?  Can you feel it?  Do you see it?  I sure can and it is FANTASTIC!!

The 2008 district conference season has come to a close, but the excitement and energy generated from the conferences is contagious…and it’s spreading.  “I will be the first to change” is being spoken by new members, season members and everyone in between.  At the district conferences we renewed our understanding of the ABWA Mission Statement, re-energized our programs, re-focused our groups to Best Practices and re-committed ourselves to making ABWA a resource for all working women! 

I’m hearing from ABWA members all over the country.  Our chapters and express networks are bursting with energy and enthusiasm.  National has given us a challenge for the 2008-2009 chapter and express network year and this challenge leads us all to BEST PRACTICES!!  I know your group can do it.  I’m here and your entire national board is here to lift you up to reach the best practices golden ring! 

Congratulations to all the newly elected officers!  You are the leaders whose vision, guidance and support members will look to.  Enjoy your year.  It will be an experience you will treasure forever.

Keep engaging, experiencing and excelling all ABWA has to offer and remember to share it with all the women you connect with.  We are the past, the present and the future of ABWA.  Let’s make history together!!
